Elias Abou Zeid PhD

Elias Abou Zeid is a seasoned digital health and AI expert with more than 14 years of experience at the intersection of healthcare and technology. He currently drives the digital health analytics development at Novo Nordisk, where he focuses on leveraging wearables and digital devices, advanced data science and AI solutions to improve patient outcomes. Before joining Novo Nordisk, Elias served as Associate Director of Data Science at Sanofi, where he managed the digital health analytics group and spearheaded the development of innovative digital biomarkers across multiple therapeutic areas.

Elias holds a Bachelor in Computer Engineering from Concordia University, a Masters in Biomedical Engineering from McGill University, and a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from the University of Toronto. Currently, Elias is pursuing an MBA at Questrom Business School at Boston University. His career reflects a deep passion for patient-centric care and the transformative potential of AI and wearables in shaping the future of medicine. He has authored several peer-reviewed publications and patents, and is a frequent invited speaker at global healthcare and AI conferences. Outside of work, Elias enjoys table tennis, hiking, and photography.
